Dain bramaged Hemi freak
OK. Put the new tranny and stall in the Hemi Barracuda, and drove it around.
Going about 15 mph, pulled the shifter back into 1st, and got on it,(not very hard), got into second, never got over 4000 rpm, and then it starts misfiring like it's got a bad vac leak.
Now refuses to idle, and runs rough at all rpms.
Checked all components of MOPAR electronic ignition, including the orange box. OK.
Pulled valve covers (as long as I was going to replace the plugs), pushrods are not bent, and all adjusted ok.
Next to check is the timing chain, but i'll have to do that by looking at dist rotor position vs the rockers @ tdc #1 cyl, cause I really don't want to pull the timing cover when a motor plate is what's holding this all together.
Oh yes, I did check that all my vac ports were plugged or being used.
Any suggestions?
