The insulation panel that hangs between back seat and trunk - mines shot - any suggestions on optional materials that I can cut and fit that do a good job of insulating ?
The seat back does the insulating. The original was just a hard cardboard.
A piece of masonite from Lowes would work. It will soak up a lot of black paint.
Mine is actually a thick insulating pad, really heavy-duty, with some type of paper backing and a "felt paper" layer as well. Probably weighs 10-12 lbs ! ('73 car)
