Does anyone know if these.fit with stock rods? What size rings are needed? Etc. Looking for forged pistons and curious if these will work for me.
Anyone know what size rings I need?

All of the information you need is right in the add. 1.739 compression height is a 318 compression height. They are 318 pistons just as the seller has advertised. Was this a trick question?

Does not tell me what rings I need. I wouldnt have posted them if they had not been for a 318. Like you stated, I dont know what rods they're meant for, or what rings they need.

The compression height tells you they are for stock 318 rods. You should know that if you are looking at pistons. If you don't then you need to call somewhere like Summit and talk to a tech guy and they can fill you in.
 
How does compression height equate to stock 318 rods?

Because that particular compression height will not work with a rod that's not 6.123" and a crank that's not 3.31" stroke. It's that damned math thing again. lol

About.040 in the hole if your lucky. But if you deck the block to zero, it’s a great piston for a zero deck nitrous or boost engine with the 340/360 late rods. Balancing may be a whole different matter though.
 
I didn't see anywhere that he referenced pin diameter. He did ask about ring size. STD piston takes STD rings. They are 5/64, 5/64 and 3/16, just like every other non Magnum 318.

Only a sealed power piston isnt a standard piston, and I dont know what aftermarket .030 over pistons use.
 
About.040 in the hole if your lucky. But if you deck the block to zero, it’s a great piston for a zero deck nitrous or boost engine with the 340/360 late rods. Balancing may be a whole different matter though.

For a boosted motor so that isnt a problem but I'll get the block zero decked anyways.

If it's going to be forced induction, then you should be looking at file fit rings so that you can custom tailor the ring gaps to your particular application.

That much I know. But I'm more asking what size are the rings for these? 5 /64, 5/64 3/16?? Do they use stock pins? Or do I need different parts for these. Wondering if anyone has used them. That's what I wanted to know. It is only going to see low boost. When I ordered rings for my saleen foxbody I was told there is different size rings for 302 .030 over forged piston, by a summit tech, so I had to make sure which ones I needed.

They use all stock sized parts, like I have been telling you all along. The rings are 5/64, 5/64, 3/16 as I said in post #11. These are STOCK REPLACEMENT 318 pistons that "happen" to be forged. They are nice and will hold up fine as long as all the right parts are used and it is a quality build.

Is .030 over stock to you? Because these arent 3.91" bore, isnt stock to me. Stock bore, and honed cylinders is stock to me as this motor didnt come with forged pistons.
As the listing told me nothing I asked based on the sealed power part number.
My original question was if I could use stock parts with them or if I needed anything differently.

You never specified a size. And yes, they are stock replacement forged pistons in .030 over. They're not domes or heavy dishes for forced induction. They are stock replacement forged pistons that happen to be .030 over. .030 over is good, as most LA 318 engines are so old now they need boring.

I didn't specify size? It states the size on the ad, and I also mentioned "size" in my first post. You dont have to have dished pistons for boost. You dont even need low compression for boost anymore. Supercharged mustangs come with flat tops with four valve reliefs. As well as other cars from the factory.

I understand that. I simply said dished would be good for boost, that's all. Did you make this thread to ask for information, or to flipping argue the whole way through?
