Found a set of NOS,Made in USA, TRW lifters. Part number VL58, does anyone know for sure if these are for la small blocks. I got a 273 small block im changin over to a hydraulic cam and im hoping these will work.
Also if they do fit are they know for being quality made or what???? Any help please.......Thanks guys

Well i think the deal is that he has them or got them as NOS. So its possible trw hasnt made these for a long time.
But ya know, summit makes quality stuff for the same price. And at least ill know exactly what im getting.
Are you gonna bid on that stuff? Still unsure...................Later

I don't think so. If they are untouched--not cleaned/sanded up with 1,000 grit sandpaper--those lifter would be great. But they might had rusted on the bottoms and somebody over the years may have cleaned them.

Sounds like he brought a large lot of items, not like it was in his basement for 20 years and he never got around to using them and now he is getting ready to die and is selling all his stuff to pay for his medicine, LOL.

The cheap stuff Summit has is more likely worst but the better items not. You also don't know why nobody ever used them all these years
