trying to identify the spindles on my 1973 Dodge Dart. I was told for big brake kits I need to start with large ball joint spindles. Car currently has front disk brakes but can’t find any markings to identify them. I was hoping if someone saw these photos they could help me, thank you.

they look to be OEM chrysler 73+ disk brakes. they are the large ball joint. you are looking at the lower ball joint. the "big" ball joint refers to the top, in the upper control arm.

You do have big ball joint spindles on the car, so your correct in that department.
But looking at the picture of the caliper, and where the rubber flex hose is mounted to the caliper, it appears to be a 73 and up, B body caliper.
So i think you have a 73 up B body disc brake conversion on the car.

And NO, your spindles ARE NOT considered to be 10 inch spindles.
That designation is for DRUM brakes, and not Disc brakes.

Man that’s great this was a huge help!
