Has anybody run TTI shorties on an early A body? TTI website says they are for 2nd gen.

I don't believe they fit on an early A, there is not a lot of room on these cars for exhaust. the full length headers do fit well.

to my knowledge the only shorties that fit on early A's are the sandersons (automatic only) and spitfires, which will fit manual and power steering but... enjoy the fab from the "collector".

somebody here has a set of tti or doug's shorties on an early a and the amount of rerouting and modification of the pipes looked to be pure chicanery.

I put Sanderson shorty's on my 66 Dart with a 5.9 Magnum, out of a 98 dodge pickup, and had to clearance one tube on the drivers side that was hitting the power steering gear. Other that that they worked fine.
I eventually installed a Borgeson power steering gear and had plenty of header clearance.
