Tubular K Frame

Looks like a great set-up but these pipes seem to hang awfully low, hope for your sake they don't drag too often.

Pipes are really low, but no scrape marks on them. Hopefully pick up some TTI s at the end of the year.

There not as low as you think, if they were much higher, they would hit the oil filter, and he does have a milodon pan, but on a stock small block pan, it sits just about 1/4 lower, I would rather hit the frame than rip my oil pan up, but like anything else, it's just ones opinion.

you can change over to a dragster style pan too, i guess Charlies is still making them but i had Bob @ Bobs pro fab modify the front of my milodon dragster pan to clear his front end kit and i can hold 9qrts and more ground clearance

Ride height is set, alignment done, new front tires mounted and balanced, brakes bled. Waiting on slicks to get here tomorrow. Getting close!!!

You won't regret it. Easy install, the alignment was almost right on as I put it together. It drives and steers great even with slicks and a spool. Pretty incredible difference from what was there.

I just want to post what I put up on Facebook. I really believe in this product.
I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you of my start to finish experience with Carl Gerst and his suspension kits that he offers. While doing my initial research on all of the front kits that are available, a few were immediately eliminated from my choices. Some I received no replies from and some others were "the best and most complete kits." I received sales pitches from some as well. I know just enough to know what I want if that makes sense. I eventually narrowed it down to 2 pieces. After I did that, there wasn't really a hard decision. The Gerstsuspensions.com kit was an easy choice. On paper, it had everything I was looking for. When I received it, it was even more!!!! This thing is unbelievably well built. You can see the patience that went into this. The welds and finish are just remarkable. Knowing how these original Mopars were put together at the factory, makes it even more unbelievable how this thing literally slipped into place. From start to finish, any questions that I had, Carl was there to answer them. Easily accessible by phone or online. Can't say that much about any company anymore. Just following directions supplied, the front end was very close to being in alignment! If all of that isn't enough, it was probably 1000 bucks cheaper than the other one. I can't recommend this enough and to be honest, would not even consider looking elsewhere for future projects. Thank you very much for your contribution to these old Mopars Carl!

I'll second this review. I was pleasantly surprised with my kit and its quality. I think that's been obvious on fabo now since august, :D If you're looking to buy a tubed K frame, you can spend a lot more money on a far worse product than GTS.

Awesome! Do you have any pictures? I'm considering one of these kits as well.

It's worth every penny.

this is not the "exact" pan i use at first and is some one elses but it is a copy of my unmodified Charles I used. my Charles pan fit in my modified a-body chassis. this is a pic after I went to a rack & pinion but I had all the stock steering in the fist time I install the big block with the Charles pan.

where the hell are the pics?
