Hey Mat, how did you attach the cable to the pedal?
How long is your cable?
Thanks!

That’s the same way when I was useing to carter comp 750 carbs
He got a lot of pics from me of my set up and copied it. He does amazing work/ fabrication. U can use a cable from a 1973-1986 Chevy truck. KimIf you look up youngguns threads he did a linkage on his 470 with t ram, his setup was very clean looking!

Got it bolted down, switched all the soft line for hard line (what a *****!!) , got the throttle cable hooked up (thanks Matt!). Gonna bend the factory pedal just a hair as I cant get the last little bit of throttle (pedal hits the fire wall)
Still gotta hook up the fan switch, temp sensor and fuel feed. Not sure if gonna half *** it for now or just start installing the fuel cell and new hard line from the cell...?
Gotta cut the hood and lots of small BS stuff. But it's getting close. Two weeks away from the shop didn't help any...
I'm very happy with my choice to change the flex line over to hard. Even tho it cost and was a serious pain in the *** it's way cleaner. (In my opinion)
Now I can't wait to fit the drag radials and 4.88s!
Thanks everyone for all the ideas and advice.
Still gotta decide on the TC. (stock converter still) My engine builder says 2,800 but I'm leaning more towards 3,500 as I wanna be pulling as much vacuum as I can before launch and may re cam this winter.
Also how the hell do you tune a plate style carb? I've always had 4150s. do you buy new plates or what? Just tune the primaries?
What about fuel pressure? Now that I'm feeding four bowls vs two, should I up my pressure? I was running 5 1/2-6 PSI. should i bump that up?
I will be calling.
So loose = high stall, tight = low stall?
This twin carb 4160 is all new ground for me. Im used to jet changes. Sucks as I have a ton of jets and zero extra plates...
That's cool but how do you adjust emulsion...if you want/need to.
