My passenger side fender mount turn signal and front bumper turn signal are working intermittently. Also does not work when I use the 4-way flashers. The passenger side headlight, lo & hi beam work and they are in the same relay. I looked under the front end and all the connections are fine. Passenger side rear turn signal works and I can hear the "ticking" in the steering column when I move the turn signal lever. I drove her 40 miles home from the shop because I had a new mini starter installed when I noticed this issue on the way home. Most of the ride home it would not work. I left it in the 'right turn' position and it started working, then stopped and hasn't come back on. I figure a loose connection or ground somewhere. Any insight fellas? Any areas to check?

yeah - loose/bad ground wire is the likely culprit - you needn't look any further than the right fender unless there are other lights that aren't working...

I had a few minutes to look around and the only ground I know of is the tip of the fender mount turn signal bezel which inserts in the fender. When check it was making contact. I checked my '66 Service manual and it did not show the turn signals in the wiring diagram (go figure!). The turn signals seem to connect to a wiring harness for the headlights but the headlights work fine. Any insight fellas????

Just because its attatched doesent mean its making a connection, and if the fender or rad cradle isnt grounding then a little more checking is required. All connections need to be checked.

Electrical repairs are my weakness...How do I make sure the fender / rad cradle are grounded?

Loosen a few bolts and retighten them. Use care to not break them.

Ok, wiring harness for right front corner may very well be intact, but the connectors may have corrosion in them.
There are as many as 5 connectors the right signal circuit uses.

Just a couple random thoughts about your issue, if this helps. I have a '68 cuda so not sure if this applies to you. On my car, the park/ turn light and headlight share the same ground which is located on the radiator support just below it's lip, along the routing of the loom. It is a black wire, one on the left and one on the right, attached with a small screw. Unscrew and re-screw to confirm grounding. Thought #2- turn signals go thru the t/s switch. Does wiggling the t/s switch wile in right hand mode make a difference?

Thanks for you reply..Unfortunately I had a surgery soon after this issue and hadn't had time to investigate and then to weather took a nose dive for two weeks and my garage was an igloo! Anyway I hope to get back this soon. Your info. on the radiator support makes sense if that is where my ground is. A couple weeks prior I did remove the radiator and shroud and may have disturb something. I will follow-up when I get this resolved. Anyone else is welcome to add their .02

Where the park/turn fixtures are made of metal and mounted in metal, there isn't an actual ground wire for/to them. Those bulb sockets are crimped into the fixture to create a chassis ground path. You will find a single ground wire attached to the radiator support that branches within the harness and grounds the sealed beam headlights. Let's not mention the headlights again as they are irrelevant.
So.... you have park/turn fixture(s) on one side of front that don't work. Finding a fault in the positive side of the circuit is the fun part. First bulkhead connections then inward to hazard switch, etc... good hunting

That is basically correct however some metal park lights are mounted in plastic grills which effectively insulates them, thus needing a ground wire.
