Bumpers and shifter back from chrome shop, they done an outstanding job on both.

The before picture of shifter, sorry for the poor detail but you can see the pitting and corrosion.

Those Cragar SS look great on those late 60s Super Stockers....replaced with the Cragar Super Trick in the early 70s , not for the looks, but for the major difference in weight.

The Tricks are featherweight and were not meant for the street....but many of us by 74 ran them on our street hot rods. I guess they kinda went with the 5:13's in the rear and slicks.

Yes, definitely by the late 70's the spun aluminum centerlines and super tricks were replacing the older mags on the street.

My dash is now ready to be reassembled, before and after shots. Black DuPont Imron.

Slowed way down but still slowly moving forward. Currently waiting on custom pushrods and engine will be finished! Thought I would post a picture or three of trim going back on as we wait for other things.

Engine is assembled and painted. 4” steel crank, forged pistons, Howard’s hydraulic roller cam 282/286 .520/.515 110. Wanted it to look period correct for mid 70’s street, will be running an Edelbrock LD-340 intake and period correct black M/T valve covers. Heads will be limiting hp. Running X heads with pocket port and valve angle work. Engine paint looks blue in pictures but is blue green turquoise.

If you want the power plant to look period correct I think it should be red. It's a great looking car though.

No, some of them were turquoise. My numbers matching engine still had traces of the original paint. Thanks for looking and the nice compliment I truly appreciate it.

Original engine paint can be seen on some of my earlier posts on page 2
