I'll give them credit, they at least tried to do it the safest way possible and rented the runway. At least they kept it off the streets and from hurting others.
 
Doesn't matter how powerful a car is, eventually even a Yugo will run out of runway and kill the occupants after doing a flip. Darwinism at its finest.

Sad story but a mile and a half is no where long enough for a Helcat bonzai run. At 140mph. they are traveling 205 feet per second. The finish line comes up pretty quick.

I swear, some people could kill themselves with an ice cream cone, and when they do they shouldn't allow a lawsuit over it to even happen.
About the only thing I have not seen a lawsuit over is a drunk driver getting in a wreck.
That's probably just that I haven't heard of it yet though.

"Yes your honor I was drunk, but there should be laws against cars having headlights spaced to where a drunk person sees three and has to guess which one isn't really there":D
 
I have sold 3 600 hp cars this year and none of those customers got to take those cars for a solo test drive.

Want to know why? Lol
 
It might be interesting to find out what their health condition was. "Hey Bob, George,..... I know we both aren't doing well, how about this?"
