Have never seen a SB with the oil filter up front like that, Uk only or after market?

Now that you mention it, I took another look at the reprint of Autocar's "Road Test Number 2147 Plymouth Barracuda". Sure enough, the hood open photo shows a a big canister oil filter mounted in the same location.

And yes. the instrument panel looks to be very squared off just like in the video. The plastic seat buckles - too hard to tell.

That is really cool. There couldn't have been many of those made.

I spent three years stationed in England 1987 - 1990. Never seen an old Mopar while I was there.

I bought a British Ford Granada to drive while there. It's a trip driving from the right. We drove American military trucks on the British roads, so imagine driving a left hand drive vehicle the wrong way!!!

The filter setup is probably there because of the steering linkage would be my guess.

Pretty cool!! I have a thing for "foreign" Mopars though. When I was searching out my Valiant in South Africa I ran across quite a few barracudas, and they all had the same dash and were right hand drive. Although the V8 engine was never available in the Valiant line from the factory, only the slant. Most were either total garbage, or priced way out in left field. Check out this link. These are Valiant's for sale in SA. Notice the 68 Barracuda with a small block Chevy lol.
