Went ahead and attached pics of his most known/posted cars. He bought the Duster new in '71 and has had the '68 Barracuda for 20 years or so. Charles "Charlie" Alvin Banister - View Obituary & Service Information

Long time member (2011) and only 3 posts.
I see he was a man of few words.
Probably wise ones at that.

RIP my fellow forum brother. Enjoy racing MoPars in the sky!

He was your Dad?
Sorry to read of what is a double loose here @ FABO.
Just keep remembering the good times.

I met him in 2020,saw his duster sitting beside the road. He welcomed me in his home. He showed me his barracuda in his garage. We talked mopar and racing. He was a great guy.

Ha, I remember that. It wasn't too long after the mini nat's at new hope I believe. I was messing with the scamp or something.

Same age as my Father and he's a big Mopar guy that inspired my love for Mopars. I really feel for your family Keegan. May he rest in peace.
Being a Firefighter tells me all I need to know about him. It tells me that he was a giving man and was willing to give his life in the line of duty if ever called upon to do so. Volunteer firefighters, in particular, are selfless and caring people. I would have loved to meet him and "pump water" (old school FF saying for chatting).

My condolences Keegan. I've said this before, us lucky ones hurt the most when we lose our hero. And as much as it hurts we were lucky.
RIP Charlie.
