been slowly getting well enough t get back onto my daily driver that's not finished and decided I"d like to add some Taillight "bling" to that huge piece of aluminum. I originally was going to just paint the red strips going across it....... then though hmm how about LEDS? so far so good, but I do need to tone the brightness down a bit after I pour the red resin on top of this setup. it's looks okay so far and I won't be totally ruining the tail panel 4 tiny .-625 holes to locate the strips in the tail panel

That looks nice, I also like the James Bond oil squirters sticking out the rear. I always wanted rocket launchers in front also !:poke:

Great work! You got tons of new inventions.

Hey, neat! Yeah, you want these to just about match the taillight intensity, otherwise it'll make your brake lights less conspicuous. Could dial back the power feed to the LED strips, and/or do like this (@0:41 if the time-indexed link doesn't work):

going to resin them first and then tone them down to almost tail light intensity (maybe a tiny bit less) to match the LED rears I've done with your help! 6 years and they still look good on the wife's car. mine gets the back burner since I'm making fresh plastic parts for my convertible and some for a barracuda I hope to get soon. and then I get a goofy idea to add in MORE leds using SMT leds instead of drilling hundreds of holes,
