In the process of installing Bilsteins on all four corners on my 65' Cuda . Though they didn't come with any I'm wondering if there is supposed to be boots on the fronts to protect the rods from road grime. Hoping to hear no as the fronts are a real pain in the *** to get on and surely for the cost of these boots would come with if required. It would really suckulate to have to remove and reinstall but ya gotta do whatcha gotta do. Please provide insight O' knowledgeable MOPAR builders.
Thanks

I have bought some aftermarket (rancho) boots and put them on Bilsteins, for the street. But, in rallying (very dirty), we never bothered with boots on the 40mm inserts we use; but we wiped them down after each event and sprayed some WD40 on them.

If I may ask, what are the part numbers on the Bilsteins for your 65 Barracuda, fronty and rear...

Thanks in advance :)

The Bilstein's are modified by RCD to fit the early A and RCD part #s are:

Front 55-Ro82

Rear 55-Ro92

They are available from both FirmFeel and PST but I got mine from PST (free shipping and 10% discount for FABO members).
