On my 1965 Cuda that I just got. My wife had brought it to the shop before giving it to me. The shop said that the front end had been redone but the upper bushings were upside down and therefore worn out already. I thought they only went in one way. Help!!

Something in the terminology here is amiss. The bushings go in horizontally therefore 'upside down' does not apply. They press in the upper arm from the outside and will not seat or fit if you try to install them from the inside out. May be one of those "it's a woman she won't know" kind of places...... I hope not!

Thanks. I think I'll bring it in for a front end alighnment, to a different shop, and see what they say.

Good idea to get another opinion. Like mguner says "upside down" doesn't apply here.

Im actually right in the middle of tearing down my front suspension to sanblast, paint, and rebush. Driver side is done and passenger side tomorrow. If you want I can take some pics so you can maybe pull your tire and see that yours is put together right. But like has been said before, there really is no way your was put in "upside down"
