I am in the process of installing 1973 Duster disk brakes on my 69 Dart. I bought the brakes years ago including the upper A-arms. My question is, did the 73 upper A-arms still use the bolts with the offset washers? I thought I read somewhere that Chrysler changed them starting in 72 or 73.

by offset do you mean the cam shaped washers?

if so, yes, they still retained that. those are how you adjust the arms for alignment.

They MIGHT have changed them on B Bodies in 73 (I think they went to rubber isolated "K" members then) but A Bodies stayed the same through 76 I believe.

There are 2 different styles the original on the left and the aftermarket on the right. Try to find nyce originals if you can . They have more usable threads do to only one flat surface and take greater torque without pulling threads.

You might be thinking about the small ball joint vs big ball joint that happened at about that time.

So a 73 and newer will not fit in a 72 and older car, but a 72 and older will fit on a 73 and newer with small to large taper adapter.
