upper control arm

-
so if I understand

I can buy those upper control arm
that they are list for drum 1973 and newer
and it will fit

mI correct???

as long as they are big ball joint they will work with disc with large bolt pattern.
What is confusing is the fact that there were small bolt pattern drum cars produced after 1973 along with the big bolt disc cars. I cannot recall if THOSE cars used a small ball joint or a large one but im thinking it was a small ball joint.

I already made the swap
sbp to bbp with disc brake and all it takes

but in there explanation they are telling
it aint suppose to fit with disc brake

so Im confuse

and why mI surching for control arm?
the previous owner weld the ball joint to the control
arm for a quick fix the ball joint pop out,the treads were
strip or something like that

so I found those and they seem to be ok
not as good as to OE were but...
and alote cheaper tubular ones

All 73+ a bodies, regardless of disc or drum, are supposed to be big ball joint from the factory. There may have been some oddballs out there, but, the general rule is all were to be big ball joint.

The 73+ cars used the same UCA when bbj's were installed. Don't know what's up with the vendors description.

My / 6 '73 drum (Duster) was Large Ball Joint. I put in disc spindles with matching ball joints. Upper BJ is same on disc / drum. You will need to get the disc LBJ. Let er rip.
