I have a broken top ring on one piston in my standard bore 340. I pulled them to check rod bearings and pin condition and intended to just put everything back in as they came out. One ring fell apart when the piston came out. Now I need a stock bore 340 or .040 over 360 compression ring that would be 4.040" when new. I've been told by someone I trust that a used ring should work and I would avoid having to hone one cylinder for a new ring set, or hone and re-ring them all. Let me know if you have something that has some life left. Just needs to get me by until the other restoration work is done and the budget for the full Monty rebuild has materialized.
 
I wouldn't trust a used ring, I'd buy a single piston set like the Professor said.
 
I have some for you. In fact, I have 8. Let me know if you want them. They are definitely 4.04 bore.
