Now; don't laugh, this is a serious question!

MOST new bearings are junk from either China or anywhere else. GOOD original Bower/BCA bearings are available...but very expensive. For example, a single A-2 bearing is $25 on Amazon.

I have save 10-20 sets of wheel bearings. keeping race and bearings together. Mostly inner and outers for disk brake 70s mopars..... all have virtually no where visible, cleaned and sitting in plastic bags coated with light oil.

I will reuse them when I need them. But now, I'm getting out of the game. Are the sets worth selling?

Yes, just represent them as used in good condition. Price should reflect the condition. 65'

Really ? In the overall scheme of things, $25.00 for a quality bearing is just the current price of a quality part.
It cost more to get my car washed.
There is always a market for everything, like said before just be upfront with what you have for sale and let the buyer know that if there are any problems, the manufacturer will not honor any type of warranty on a second hand part.

Sometimes people fall into the mentality of put in everything new, I would clean out all the grease and wash out the bearings and the race and inspect them for damage and wear and if none is found I would repack and reuse them. I was a heavy truck mechanic by trade and wheel bearings and races are expensive enough to make you think twice before replacing perfectly good bearings.

It is one thing to inspect and reuse the bearings that you removed from your own vehicle and another thing to use parts you have no direct knowledge of and trust them on your own car.
Did you buy used bearings of the internet to use on heavy trucks ? Do you think the owner of that truck would say to use them knowing that if they fail and cause damage to his truck that because they were second hand parts there would be no warranty for them ?
I think not.
Buying used bearings is not like buying used fenders.
Buyer beware.

I’ve been around bearing a long time. Pretty easy to spot wear and defects. If kept as a pair early with the race....that’s important as they bed in.

I’d rather reuse good bearings than replace with cheap bearings

Yep, a quality bearing from 50 years ago might very well be better than the new junk. Clean and carefully inspect. If they look good, Re pack and rock and roll. There's too many photos to post but check out things here: tapered roller bearing failures - Google Search

My point was that reusing the original bearings are not a bad idea if maintained properly from the start. And came off of the car to begin with.
I just don't trust someone else's opinion on used parts of any kind. "Trust me".........OK guarantee that if I have a problem that you will pay for it, then I will trust you.
