Using a Clay Bar

Do not drop it in the dirt, don't get any sand in it or it will make scratches. You will need to wax it when you are done too, results look nice

X2 on all that. Let the clay bar do the work for you and keep it well lubed. Don't use it on hot paint. I've been claying for years and love it. The results not only look great but they feel great.

My wife asked what the clay bar was for, and I had her run her hand over the freshly washed fender. Then I had her run her hand over the hood that had already been clayed. NOW she understands! I use Meguiars Quik Detailer as the lubricant.

I was never a fan of my girls clay treatment.

Now, her wax job is another story. Loved rubbing up against that.
