After reading all this I'm surprised nobody has chimed in with an inexpensive trailer business on the west coast, or at least closer to you. Sounds like a great business opportunity for someone?

What length is it?
Was kinda hoping someone would. I found a different manufacturer, think they were in Indiana. But for a similar trailer they were substantially more.
Wife found one local. Was 12 years old, had a compressor tank, some makeshift shelves and a generator setup... $7800. Looks like a road trip iso in my future...
so is this a nice trailer

That is very nice, what is the final price if you do not mind me asking. Mine came from one of the many builders in Douglas, Ga. But has the 4 foot panels with 5200 lb axles, led lighting and such. No extended hitch but it seems no shorter than my first travel trailer I pulled with weight leveling hitch and half ton truck. If you have an issue accident does the whole side need to changed?
you might look into Bulldog trailers in Chehalis. They cost more, but the savings in time, fuel and wear and tear, probably worth it.

While back I contacted them. By the time all was said and done was up around $7800...if I remember right...will call them tomorrow if I get a chance

Looks like I will be making the trip to Georgia. Called a local dealer or two, no v-nose available, no extended tongue available with a v-nose. Both told me that as long as I would sign an affidavit stating that the trailer will not be used here in Washington I will not have to pay tax. Both of them wanted to charge me to go to DMV for a temporary tag. Asked if I could just get the paperwork from them and take care of just registering it myself said no. $75 for a temporary tag to haul the thing 35 miles...
Called the dealer on the west side of the state. 24' flat nose, claimed Continental Cargo doesn't offer a v-nose, told him that I checked the Continental site and saw they did. Then he said that an extended tongue isn't available with the v-nose. When asked if I could simply order what I wanted he mumbled something about time. He told me that if I were interested they have a 24' flat faced unit equipped with the car carrier package. Radial tires and a one piece roof. 7k. Plus tax. Claimed that just providing a legal document with an address in MT was not enough to avoid sales tax, he would need a driver's license. By the time tax is tagged on and his fees to DMV price will be just a tick or two under 8k.
Not going to spend that much and get something I don't want. Not to mention I am pretty sure the guy is scamming me for the tax $. 2 other dealers said seeing my LLC papers would suffice.

Hope you can work in some fun stuff on your trip, maybe bring a car back for someone to help pay for gas.
Don't forget Reese has bolt on chain hangars that attach to the side of the frame, if you can't get the tongue length you want.
Of course, bring a jack and an extra spare and check the lug torque a couple of times.

I have pulled livestock trailers many miles. It is my experience this sloped and slanted nose pulls much easier. My comparison is between a 16 ft. and 24 ft. steel trailer. The 16' was a set back round nose, and the 24' was a sloped and slanted long nose. The larger trailer pulled much easier.

Stopped by a local trailer dealer. Mirage XCEL trailer. Asked about a v-nose he claimed it wasn't available so it would have to be a flat nose. Base price of it was $7800. Claimed I "needed" the car carrier package which tacked on $700. Of course the trailer has a seamed roof and even with the car car carrier package didn't include a one piece roof which added another $380. He also told me that just providing my LLC papers wasn't enough, he would need to see a utility bill from MT. So after adding the gubermints cut the bill comes to $9640...road trip here I come. But thanks to a recent hangup at a doctors office will have to wait til spring.

The 4 d rings came with it. Was radial tires instead of belted, different wheels, a second roof vent and a few other things that made me roll my eyes at the guy. Trailer didn't even have an rv style door, it had a pipe latch type of thing. Was not very thrilled by it. Guy I spoke with reminded me very much of a used car salesman. When I was there somebody was picking up a open car trailer. Overheard him agreeing to buying a spare tire...for $240. I just got off the phone with the place in Georgia....a spare is only $120 from them. I will be spending some time online looking around. I was hoping that I could get my first set of injections next week and then make the trip in late September but that ain't gonna happen.
So it was a enclosed trailer to haul hay or lawn mowers? You would think all trailers like that we're going to haul a vehicle and more! Good for you to run away!

Guy claimed it was for hauling cars. It was a event looking trailer. Didn't like the side door, could only be opened from the outside. Down the road we may use it for sleeping when what work on the house. Didn't like the fact that it only had a ingle strip of luann (spelling?) down the center of the roof. He claimed I couldn't get a v-nose. Not to mention the $$ end of it..

When I spoke with the company that I posted the Ebay link to earlier today I asked about a website. She explained to me that Cynergy Cargo - Enclosed Trailers Cargo Trailers, Car Hauler Trailers Race Car Trailers Car Haulers Motorcycle Trailers is the company that builds there trailers, in particular when someone wants leaf springs. She did caution me about buying a Cargo Trailers For Sale In Douglas, GA | Diamond Cargo Outlet trailer. They apparently changed hands recently and have had several issues with quality control...as well as apparently have flat out lied to several folks. Spent some time looking thru the Facebook groups earlier. Found a few that looked like they may be worth calling on. Needless to say they were all in the Southeast...one was I Indiana I believe..

Just FYI, most of the low cost trailers I've looked at have the single sheet in the roof center.
And some just have partial panels on the side walls.
You can look at it two ways, it may seem cheap to you, but you get a much better look at the trailers "bones" which is never a bad thing!
And certainly makes it easier if you're adding lights, roof vents, etc.

$8900 is low cost? I get what you are saying about making additions easier. Only things I would probably add is a simple bench in the V and put my generator and portable compressor in it.
I don't think sccachallenger was saying $8900 was low cost, but you were pitched a low cost (4K) trailer with the fact you need more $ to upgrade it and way to much $. It is a shame they are asking that much over there. I have About $5500 total with upgrades in mine and yes the outer sides are paneled, the roof is one piece and the correct 75 MPH radial tires on 5200 lb axles with spare included. I got to see some bones, good or bad! I fixed the bad easily! I was able to fit the car as needed first then trim it out. The unit I got has plenty of frame room for load levelers but my Dually RAM don't need them. If you want a mounted generator you need to consider that it needs to be outside for your safety. I think we are all trying to give you good advice to consider. My trailer as delivered only had a 4' strip in the center of the roof line with 2 LED light fixtures and one vent. No issue to me, the sides were fully paneled floor to ceiling. I primed, painted, carpeted 1/2 way including wheel wells. Caulked all the floor to wall seams first, ( a whole case) and know I have a nice sealed unit that way. Added faux vinyl diamond plate flooring and E-Track, straps included. I over winter the car in it with a 5 gallon bucket of charcoal no issues!
You have to find your comfort zone in price and work from there.
