The other day I noticed I had not connected the vacuum advance tube from the carb to the dizzy, must have been that way since engine breakin a few months ago. I went ahead and hooked it up, and now it seems as if electric choke isn’t operating properly on engine startup, which it was before. Coincidence or could the two have something in common? HEI ignition, and Quickfuel carb.

Coincidence
No connection between the choke and vacuum advance

Coincidence. Unless the hose is hitting the linkage. Always a good idea to run vac advance on the street.

Thanks All, I thought that was the case, but it had me second guessing myself.
