I haven't had my vacuum advance hooked up on my 360 ever since I put it in. I wasn't quite sure if it was needed. I have my timing setup so it runs pretty good. I was told that because my motor has pretty high compression (10.6-11) and a big ish cam that it wasn't reaally needed, that it may increase fuel economy a bit. The main reason was that its running good now so just leave it, and that I like to use the engine for what it was built for LOL. But should I hook it up? or just leave it off?
The motor is a 360, eddy heads, comp 268, new pistons and bottom end. I am using the stock electronic ignition and the stock 360 distributor.
