I've just purchased at 64 Cuda that has had a 318 stuffed under the hood. It's got a 4bbl Holley and I'm lost as to how or what vacuum lines should be hooked up. I know something isn't right, as the distributor's vacuum advance isn't hooked up. The carb has two vacuum lines the run out of one stem and in to another, and the large stem that is connected to the PCV valve. I can't figure out where I'd hook up the vacuum advance from the distributor... Any ideas? Thanks, Andy

The vacuum advance should be connected to the nipple on the passenger's side of the metering block.

Andy ,check to see which one of the vacuum ports on your carb is NOT pulling vacuum at an idle. You can feel a draw by putting your finger over the port. That`s the correct line for your vacuum line to the distributor. The car`s idle should NOT increase when you hook up the vacuum advance.
