Hello, (Sorry guys, I had to edit my post, there are a couple of CV plating companies)

The gauge cluster/bezel, armrests, and radio bezel for for my 1965 Barracuda are in need of replating. I was told that CV Custom Finishes, formerly CV Vacuum Platers (Washington)( http://www.cvvacuumplaters.com/ )did a good job, but unfortunately they are closing. Could any of you suggest a reputable company that does vacuum plating? Maybe one in California somewhere?

Drew

Vic at VAE has done a 66 Barracuda cluster bezel, glove box bezel and end piece as well as a 65 Valiant/Barracuda instrument bezel for me. I will highly recommend him.

Don't know the cost on plating the armrest bases but there are repops that are really nice. Sorry to here that CV is closing.

What do we like for replacement woodgrain after an outfit like VAE reworks originally-woodgrained dash parts? They say on their site that they don't redo the woodgrain. I see this option…any others?
