i have a 440 with about 3k miles on it . it has a solid roller cam 906 heads. 30 over trw . steel crank . torker intake (temporary) with a 1050 dominator . im running crank case evac system . i took a out of town family member for a ride . mashed the throttle . it seemed to hesitate alittle and heard pinging . when i got to the house i noticed the valley pan poped up. i have been running this motor with no problem . plugs look good . i shouldnt have blow by and the only thing i have changed was putting alittle more timing in it , which is why i heard pinging would that cause the valley pan to push out?

When you say "crank case EVAC system" what do you mean? Stock PCV, evac pump, etc?

Not enough crank case ventilation. My 383 popped up and crack open after I got on it hard one time. Once I vented the valve covers better I never had another issue.

hoses connected to breathers down to exhaust ,exhaust creates a vac. pulling crank case pressure .weird that all of a sudden did it
