valve body missing the down shift assy?

Hey folks,

Im still working on that rebuild on my 67 727. I am trying to install the b and m shift kit while im in here but i ran into an issue. The down shift assy part of the valve body wasnt there! Just an end plate. I wanted this to shift manually so theres a ball bearing im supposed to add and a governor plug to replace.. without this assy, they dont fit!

What to do?

some did not come with the Part Throttle module...

Hmm. Well, i guess im gonna leave the ball bearing out and use their governor plug and see what happens. Thanks for your reply.

Tony's right. What your referring to Cameron is the part throttle downshift valve assy. and they didn't start using that until 71. I don't believe they had the 1-2 shift control valve either so you don't have to worry about the ball bearing mod.

you probably could look around and see if anyone has a valve body with the module on it..and swap them out.
