Vent duct

Hi,

any of you have made custom vent duct...mine are scrap, went to the hardware store but did not find anything usefull...

I bought mine through Napa Auto parts. As my old vents were made from beer cans taped together with the inside of the ends cut-off. After the car would warm up it'd smell like stale beer. Not good if you got pulled over.

Ditto on the local Napa store. One of mine on my 66 is smaller on one end,
A tight zip-tie took care of that problem. I still get chunks of stuff out of the
ducts when I turn it on high!!! toolmanmike

I replaced one on my 66 years ago, and I got it at NAPA. The replacement ones are made of plastic type material, not the cloth/wire like the originals.

MoparFan, it's best if you take your old hose with you and go to NAPA with it. If they try to source it on the computer, chances are they will say they don't have it, but if you take the old one in, they just might have something on the shelf they can cut to length for you. That's what I had to do to replace mine. Good luck.
