vertigate shifters

Does the vertigate shifters fit into a factory A-body 4 spd. tunnel? Are they any good? Anyone have experience with them? Are they comprable to the Hurst Super shifter 111?

You have to cut the tunnel to get one in , it doesn't fit thru the stock opening .
