When I drive my car over 50 mph it starts vibrating. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Can be one of many things U-joints to fly wheel and or tire's, What engine and trans and what kind of car ? more info will help us help you .

Put it in first gear and run it up to 3.500 rpm and see if it starts shaking if it don't vibrate put it in second gear and see when it starts Vibrating if it don't then try third gear.
This will eliminate u-joints and rear end. If it has over drive and your tires are ballanced good it could be your T.Converter

Front wheel bearing, have you serviced them or jacked up the front of your car and seen how much free play you have on the wheel bearings ?

I have a vibration in mine in high at about 50 to 60 mph... I was thinking its U joints. I was going to have my shaft balanced too just to check it out. Its not in the wheel, more like its in the seat... new rear wheel bearings. Think I'm on the right track? Its a 904.
