VIN question

Hi all, I haven't posted here much (I'm a B-body guy...2 Chargers) But anyways been wanting an A-body. May be going to look at a '69 Dart GT listed locally on Craigslist, but guy doesn't know if its a 318 or 340. What would the VINS begin with being a 318 or 340 Dart.
