I love slot cars me and my kids play with them all the time I have several vintage chassis and modern ones too the vintage ones are funnier to because you actually have to drive them. But the modern ones are alot faster haha.

Awesome stuff, Buster! I caint believe there haven't been more comments before now. What a buncha losers. LOL

All 1/24th scale for big commercial tracks. 2 lane Drag, 8 Lane oval and road course.
Iv only ever had HO scale stuff I have the pancake T-Jets and the fast trackers I have a couple of the old Aurora tjets like the original from the 60s ones but I don't use them just collect them. I do (did) race alot with some remake thunderjets they are made by mantis. They are really fun. I want to try the Tjet ultra Gs

Yeah, that's G scale. I model large scale model railroading. Although what I model is loosely referred to as G scale, technically, it's Fn3 scale, which represents 3 foot narrow gauge and runs on 45mm track, but it is also 1/24 scale.

As a kid I remember going to hobbie shops that had the big slot car tracks. that was some pretty cool times and stuff.

Al, Check it out... still a kid, playing on big tracks.
I put a whoopin' on those modern aero NASCARs with my Big Bad red #0 1968 Dodge Charger.:)
See... just playing with them @ 4:14, :poke: Check out that straightaway speed

Nice.
I remember when I was a kid we would walk by a hobby shop in East Atlanta. The HS guys would already be there. They had an oval track IIRC but I was fascinated by the drag strip. Most times my younger brother and I would stop in for a few minutes the fastest car there was a transparent green Willys or Ford, don't know which.

Bet it was a Du-Bro Willys, factory painted, transparent green with silver backing.

Here is a gold one. Green was the most popular BITD.
