 The Chrysler Plymouth dealership in Sarasota. When I was a Cub Scout we took the last passenger train before it was discontinued.

Chevy dealership also in my town. Sorry I don't know how to post them where you don't have to click on the url.

Those are awesome David especially of the one in Sarasota. I will have to find an address and see if its there still

The Chrysler-Plymouth one is not there anymore, it's further south on 41. The Chevy dealership is still in the same spot but it's been Sunset Chevrolet for years. They are both in Sarasota.

If anyone has old pictures of Strausbaugh Dodge in Youngstown Ohio, I'd love to see them. My father worked there for a little while back in 60's, just out of high school. He just told me about it (again) the other day. How it was also major parts supplier in the tri-state area then, and you could get anything from a spark plug, fender, to a complete engine through that dealership. And his story of how he mixed up a huge bin of right hand/left hand thread lugnuts and had to tediously sort them out.

Not sure if these were posted already or not

The Mr. Norms pictures just make me sad.

This was the 67' Dodge Rebellion Display at Cobo Hall Detroit. In the right back ground is a blue 67' Coronet R/T. A silver 67 Charger

This is my favorite. The Famous Hemi Cutaway. That is me to the far left. Dig the Big Ed Daddy Roth Helmet. I joined the Rapid Transit Club There too. A month later I received my packet with all my stuff.

Mrs. Edith Hild sits at the wheel of her 1954 Plymouth Savoy parked at Steven Motor Company, Chrysler and Plymouth dealers on August 17, 1972. Steven's manager Pete Lisicich notes the very low mileage (14226) for the 18-year-old car. The Hild family drove the car less than 15.5 miles per week. Despite the fact the car only traveled about 1000 miles a year, the family brought it in to Steven Motor every fall for complete inspection and maintenance service. The low miles and pristine condition made Mrs. Hild's Savoy the top choice in a national search for the best 1954 Plymouth to be presented to singer Johnny Cash. He had once owned a duplicate model when he first began singing which he considered to be the "best car I ever owned." Mrs. Hild received the keys to a new 1973 Plymouth in exchange for her car.

Great thread! Sparks a lot of memories of when I worked for Mopar dealers. I wish I had the fore site to save some of the rare stuff I came across.(I also wish I was a little taller...lol)
