voltage regulator

Sorry guys - didnt know if the RE55 was an International model number r just Aussie.

Here's a pic of what they look like -

Dimensions - about 1.5" x 1"
 
So I returned the voltage reg I bought and got a Wilson c8313 solid state regulator and plug. There is a green wire and red. Does it matter which field these go to? Also I would like to get a plug for the alt, it is the same as the injector plugs.

Definitely does not matter - as long as a wire from one pin on the alt goes to the Field terminal, and the other goes to the switched 12V terminal.

I ended up using a factory harness alt plug.....but I guess you have to have a harness laying round to do that :)
