Want to confirm grille finish - 69 Cuda Formula S

Our car has one black grille and one silvery / argent grille.
I may improve and refinish the big plastic surrounds in a flat black.
Should the "egg crate" grilles also be black?

Yes the egg crate should be black, I believe the leading edge is "unfinished"
