Want to put a magnum 5.9 in my 70 dart.

OP, are you keeping the front serpentine setup, or switching to one of the two different LA timing cover/water pump/pulley setups?
That will determine what you need for a radiator/shroud.
If you're keeping the Magnum's serpentine setup, make sure the 4 bbl. manifold you get has the provisions on it for mounting the serpentine setup, and has the thermostat offset to the driver's side for bracket clearance.
Agree, but if keeping the Magnum serpentine setup the intake manifold is only a real deciding factor or variable if also keeping the Magnum air conditioning compressor. So that would be an important question.

Thank you again. I want to keep the serpentine belt. Remove a/c parts.

Radiator I was looking at a 4 core 22 x 17 or something like that it's written down in the shed.

Is there an intake that is recommended?

Edelbrock RPM for the Magnum head.
You can upgrade to a Edelbrock aluminum cylinder head later if you want.
The lower passenger hose is a bit hard to fit in but it’s possible.
I’m using anSummit aluminum radiator. I’ll have to measure the size. I don’t remember.
FWIW, I used an Edelbrock carb rated PSI wise electric fuel pump. No regulator needed. Get the wiring relay with the pump to make life easy and install quicker. Works great!
Thank you everyone for your responses. Definitely liked the magnum swap page lots of good information there.

Guess I left out some details. I plan to do carb setup on the motor keeps it simple and can be upgraded as money allows. Car is automatic I did want to have overdrive but the floor is in pretty good shape and don't want to chop it up. So will probably be going with just a 904 transmission.

Do you guys run electric fans or use the stock fan? The plan for the car is to be a driver.
Stock fan on my 5.9 in my ‘79 Magnum.
A viscous fan (MP) on my front LA dressed 5.9 in a Duster.
Both are automatics, 1 of each, 727 & a 904.
