I'd like to try a new carb. Currently I have a 950 proform. It works pretty well, (much better than the original edelbrock carb) but I always wonder if there is something left on the table.

Money aside, in your opinion who makes the best 4150HP style carb available? My engine builder recommends an 850 or 950 4150hp or ultra hp Holley carb.

I think the HP series as on par with a proform. I dont think you would feel a difference but a wideband AFR would be a valuable tool to tune with if you want to spend some money.

I agree with that statement.

Spend 150ish on an A/F Meter and tune the 950.
