I've seen the Lancer, have scoured all sources I can find but just started on this forum. Never been a fan of the Lancer because of the grille and instrument panel trim compared to the Valiant. Otherwise pretty similar, though. I'm biased since a '62 sedan was my first car and the family bought five or so Valiants in the 60's. Need to talk to Dad to nail down the story on a couple of the early ones, I started about the same time as the Valiant design, 1958, so was pretty little in those days but have seen a picture or two.

Well, I found a project car, a "road toad". '62 Valiant V200, 2-door, appears to be a post, body straight and ran two years ago, floor pans clean, only one lower quarter panel needing rust repair: 1962 Plymouth valiant Brent Washam sent you 1 item Seller wants to do some body work and put tires on it, have it running and ship from Las Vegas. I sent some earnest money but want to see quality and timeliness of his work before committing more $$. Lotta work ahead, but car is amazingly similar to my first car, only difference is it was a 4-dr sedan.
