Just picked up '74 Scamp /6, non a/c car for parts lemme throw in a battery tomorrow to see if it's working. It'll be much less than the ebag price that's being asked.

Autozone lists a new one online for $36.99.. Siemens PM337... Advance lists the same one for $72.00. For as much work as it will take to change it I wouldn't put in a used one if it were me.

Wow thanks for the reply's everyone! I didnt think to check the parts store for one. I had checked yearone, paddock and rockauto and none listed one for my year. But I checked with the local Kragen store down the street, and they have one in stock for only 22.99! I have been without one for months because I didnt know where to get one. Thank YOu!

Glad you found one, I wouldn't have thought about the parts houses either. The one I have worked, so I pulled it. Never had to do one before, so it was fun. Had my 14 year old "help". At least I had a constant flow of coffee and peace and quiet for a while.

Now I've got an extra heater core, switches, etc. if mine ever goes.
