Rear frame is toast but have found new ones online will stay all original full restoration . anyone know how I can figure out how many with my particular options where made and are left ..no fender tag rust gremlins. Claimed it

good for you for saving it. get the seats out. you might get lucky and have a build sheet you can salvage

rears usually, if their is one, but i did see one under a front seat, once.

edit: if it's there, you'll probably need to disassemble the whole seat to get it out without making confetti out of it. good luck

Rear seat. Most likely in the spring of the seat bottom.

If not there, perhaps taped to the top/back side of the glove box liner behind the dash.

Thanks for that heads up already had one I s@#t moment when the tractor bucket slipped and mashed the fender

Nice score!

Also sometimes found in rear seat back, bottom of front seats, and under carpet. Much rarer but they have even been found above the headliner and inside doors, likely errors by line workers on a Monday after a weekend of too much fun.

Make sure to take pictures of it before removal, in the event it gets damaged during the process of extraction.

Did that to my 1976 Dart Sport about 15 years ago...essentially the same car. I took out the slant and dropped in a 79 360 out of a Ramcharger, had it rebuilt, shaved the heads to 9 to 1 comp. added an Edelbrock air gap intake, 4 bbl carb and presto...325-350 hp at the crank.

To get the seat out, you have to push the bottom of the seat inward. There are two hooks that are welded to the floor. The seat frame hooks on to them. It's pretty hard to push the seat off the hooks. If you look under the seat you might be able to see the hooks

600 is a great deal. The 74 360 is the best Duster ever made
