Checking to see what information is in here about using this carburetor , on a Clifford intake manifold , on the 225 . It's on the website but really not mentioned anywhere else . Plenty of info on the Holley and the Carter and even a Motorcraft . So , anyone have experience with this set-up ?

I believe that is the type of carb used on Ford Pintos. I think it was called a progressive 2bbl. Probably came on a lot of other cars, like maybe Chevy Vegas. I had one on my VW stupid-beetle for a while. At the time, it was hard to tune because different jets and air-bleeds were not that common, and there wasn't much room to work on a Vdub. I think a lot of othet people liked them, though. They used to be like 60 or 70 bucks, then, LOL.
