Still using his transbrake but no delay boxes allowed at this race. He only bottom bulb races a couple times a year now. Car number is 3x97 and 3x9 for the weekend. One time trial under each number and 1st round wins.

Please explain bottom bulb or top bulb in the simplest terms for my dumb *** to understand.
I don't believe we have any of that stuff around here.

Box class is usually referred to as top bulb racing because those running a delay box leave go
Of the transbrake button on the top bulb.

No box class is called bottom
Bulb racing because that when you leave your foot off the brake pedal or transbrake button when not using a delay box.

Well they are rained out for the day. It started coming down before Matt ran his second entry so both entries are still in. They are going to need a lot of luck to get this race finished as the weekend forecast isn’t pretty.

Oh okay, guess it helps to know the lingo since I haven't been but a sleeping beauty lol.
Thanks John

Hopefully he keeps trusting the car, it's on a rail, consistent.

Well the redlight bug hit Matt today on his 3x9 entry so it was out. He won 1st round in his 3x97 entry and was waiting to run 2nd round and the rain moved in again. Another split so 200.00 for winning 1st round. Doesn’t look good at all tomorrow. Check out this package from a local keystone racer.

Well yesterdays race (Sunday) was canceled at 8am. Pretty pathetic weather all weekend but I’m sure he had some fun bottom bulbing for something different. Next Sunday he will be racing at Norwalks Halloween Classic for the week.
