went out to try and find some parts for my truck. First place I came across had a lot of Dodge D/W series trucks but the guy wouldn't let me look at the from anywhere but the driveway. Here's some pics of that disappointing mess.

Here's the other junkyard I went to. Lots of mopar stuff and brand X stuff. didn't find anything but a set of fenders I may go back for. I'll look for other stuff if anyone wants me to.

it used to be CBR Auto parts. 3 years ago. Now its just a bunch of Dodge trucks that are thicketed in. there about 15 on the property. just can't see em well.

You guys junkyards are actually peoples yards full of junk? Im so used to CA stacked and racked parts yards, its a breath of fresh air to see something like this. ITs like a walk in one of our parks, but beater cars behind bushes.

OK second set of pics just showed up. Thats a cool plastic gas tank with the swirly on the bottom....

and that's all. sorry guys, looks like I only found a cool spiral gas tank. maybe it can help me with better miles per gallon

Can you buy any of those parts in that junkyard? If so, I see some $ to be made....any good parts on that 77-78 Fury are an easy sell for sure, hard to believe but true, that car is a common car to "clone" into a Dukes of Hazzard Roscoe cop car...I sold a single NOS taillight lens a year ago for almost $200!!!

Also that Dodge semi, many valuable parts there as well......you would be surprised if you did a little research.......

Yep! Everything in there can be bought at a pretty reasonable price. Yeah, there's not a whole lot left on the Dodge C600 as far as saveable body parts go but there is still good odds and ends. The engine is mostly there with a bizarre high mount water pump setup. its a big block, just dunno which yet! I might just grab the high mount timing cover and the unusual parts off of it and whatever anyone needs. This place isn't far out of the way for me and they are pretty cheap too. If I can get some members parts and give myself an excuse to go to more junkyards, I'll be more than happy to do so.

I wish. You can't do that at this yard unfortunately. They cancel the vehicle titles when they enter. Trust me, I was eyeballing it up and down.

I don't get this " Titles " thing.....does it mean that the vehicle no longer exists without a title or what ????....what is a " title " ????
We don't have that here.

By just looking at the picture,I see a fair amount of good parts on the C600. Those swing out fenders look decent, maybe dented up here and there, but don't look rotted out by the latches and topside. The DODGE letters and 600 emblem's are kind of hard to find too. There is a bigger Dodge emblem that mounts on the side of the hood and looks to be missing and those are hard to find in my book.

Some cool stuff there... My sister had a Corvair like that one and my neighbour had a Mercury Capri like the little four eyed one there. Man thats like walking back in time, luv the juke yard strolls we use to have but all the yards are way too cleaned up around here. All you see are racks and a crusher

I see a couple Ramchargers :color: if one of them have a sway bar I would be there with blaster penetrating oil in hand and see if I could make a deal :color:

What do you use to document ownership, and legality of the vehicle?

For some rason I don't think I'll be doing anything outside today...

I should never open threads like this. Most of those vehicles would be very solid builders in my neck of the woods. To see them sinking back into the ground just makes me cry a little.
