went to the track the other day......

with my good buddy brock, (bvt69dart) to see if the car would finally run a 13............good news, it did!!!

it's been running real close, the last couple of times, low 14's so i figured that if i get the tires nice and warm and the air is right, it should run a 13.

keep in mind that i'm in denver and up on thunder mountain it's a little higher than a mile high, about 5800 feet.

first two passes it ran a 14:08, and a 14:01, so i knew it was right there, and then wham!!! ran 13:98!!

so now before the track closes for the winter, i have been bitten by the bug, and feel with a little chassis tuning, it should run close to a mid 13.......have to get that 60 foot down to a 1.9......lol!!

the main thing is brock and i had a blast!!! did about 8 passes total, and raced alot of different vehicles.

brock ran his beautiful dart a few times, it ran low 16's, which is not bad up here for a bone stock 318!!

anyways, brock thought i should share, so here's some pics of the night.......u ever want to add some excitement to your life try taking the car out to the track and let it rip..........what fun!!!

had to take a few of the blown chally that was there, the dude was getting his competition license. i was standing behind that car, man the thing was all over the track!!! nice looking daytona also.......

Nice! Must have gone out on test and tune night. It's hard to get 8 runs in at Bandimere.
