Correct carb cores for MW and hemis=some pretty stout $, other wise just another early B carb core.

Its not just a early B-body core.

it’s a 69 440HP automatic with A/C carb.

not a low performance C-body core or less desirable car.

but not a 4-speed car or non A/C car.

Exactly. I’ve seen and owned many many 4640s over the years but 4618s are hard to find. I got completely lucky and found a correct 4618 with an intake, both dated correctly for my M-code GTS for 100 bucks locally about 5 years ago.

A lot of the 4640s seem to have later date codes, most likely available as an over the counter replacement.
