Thank you for awakening a very special memory, my Dad sang this to me when I was very small, the chorus sounded more like Burl Ives' version. Dad may have played that when he picked up the ukulele. Funny I never remember him singing except way back then. It sounded so cool to me, a mountain with cigarette trees and lemonade springs...

I haven't gone through this whole thread, good stuff the little I've skipped around. Didn't run across it here, so if it has been mentioned already I apologize....well, maybe. Airbourne from Australia. Holy ****, just discovered them from a local radio station. These guys are BADASS!!! Wow! Talk about GOOD rock n roll!! Reminds me of AC/DC!!!! But dare I say a little better!!!???
 

Almost 30yrs. after cutting this track, and pushing 60yrs. of age, these guys prove what it means to bring it live over and over. Unfortunately the vid portion is license
blocked like many now, watching them perform this shows how bright the flame still was!
 

In HS, I was part of a group that gathered in the AM B4 the bell in the hall & talked music/musicians & a little s**t. Most of us played, in the school bands, or outside doing our
own thing. This name came up briefly in relation to the bands Steeler & Alcatrazz, but I'd only heard those released cuts a couple of times, & didn't absorb much. Cut to working
@ G.C.Murphy Co. in '84, I bought this off our LP stand, went home and dropped the needle on it....... Holy S**T! I was a fan of a lot of competent bands/players, but NOBODY
was composing/writing/performing stuff like this......I can never get tired of listening to this album.
 
Got me a new turntable hooked to my parents old system....and got all my moms old records from the 60's-80's...been hooked....she has all the Stones albumns, but I love this album the best, Sticky Fingers.... my fav song
