I am listening to nothing, sweet silence.
Normally I am streaming something, but the two grand kids that me and the wife are raising, went to sleep.
 
A beautiful cover of the CCR song by a man who had started to have some success with an album called the Next 100 Years. Mostly he busked Venice Beach until a record exec heard him and helped him to make that record. Unfortunately, Ted Hawkins passed away not long afterwards. I played this song 20 or 30 times on the day my dad passed in 1995. I don't really know why, I guess somehow it was appropriate. Played it maybe 4 times since because it is still hard for me to listen to even now.

Local guy, Big Rude Jake with Chili Bean's Final Carouse. I've seen him live with his full band. Great stuff.

The Beach Boys!! Seen the original band in 85, and the old guys twice in concert the last couple years. Still rockin.
