For the past couple weeks I have been listening to a bootleg CD of Tony Rice and the Tony Rice Unit live at the Dahlenega Bluegrass Festival in Georgia in 1992. Tony's pickin' is so damn HOT that I had to wrap the CD is asbestos to keep it from catchin' fire!!! Man, that cat can play!!! Geof

Sad Mans Tongue, My band does this song too. But its Call Folsom Prison Blues, LOL Still a cool song.
 
I like his voice and the songs have great hooks but their music is just way TOO COMPRESSED..The music is great for Ipods and radios in the garage but when I put it on the old HiFi..it's just loud..no room for any dynamics, it's just squeezed too hard to get music level up..IMO
But that being said I'll buy more CD's for the shop...Thanks you guys for turning me on to this band..:cheers:

I like them, and recently discovered them from the video Alleyoop posted earlier and became hooked! I ordered a CD of their's on eBay and can't wait to crank it up on the big speakers in the shop!
