What are you listening to ?

Never forget the first time I saw Magic Slim and the Teardrops at the Silver Dollar Room in Toronto with a buddy of mine. Nick said he'd go even though he didn't like the blues. Before the first set was over, he'd become a fan. In between sets, we were at the end of the bar. The bartender put 10 bourbon shots in a row along the bar and Slim came over, sat down and knocked back one after the other in between chatting with Nick and me like we were old drinking buddies. He played even better the second set. So very cool. The second time I saw him there, my future wife Claudia and I were dating. I asked her to go. We went up to him to say hi. Slim was about 6'6" and Claudia is 5'. I so wish I had a picture of her shaking hands with him looking down on her with his big smile.
Magic Slim is gone now but I'll remember those two concerts in particular for the rest of my days.

Apparently I was listening to a lot of Foo Fighters in 2021. Anyone else get this type of summary?
